Troubleshooting MaxxFan Deluxe 00-07500K Not Opening

Question:
I have a 00-07500K Maxxfan Deluxe and the vent does not open - neither with the remote nor manually with the knob. The fan spins fine, the unit is getting electricity. Would replacing the operator fix this problem?

Thank you for providing that information. Since everything else appears to check out that narrows it down the operator mechanism as you said. Replacing it with the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF should take care of the problem.
