The best Air Lift air bags for your 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 are the 5,000 lb option:

- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57288

The 5,000 lb capacity is the best for your truck because you won't need to come near that capacity, and you'd honestly be overpaying for bags with more capacity as it just won't be needed. Then for the compressor the best is the following:

- Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL58WQ

I really like the # AL58WQ because of its convenience. The compressor will just use your phone to control and monitor the air pressure, it comes with a U-bolt mounting kit so you don't have to drill into the frame of your Chevy to install it, and it automatically keeps the pressure within 3 PSI of the level you set. It is even fully waterproof so no matter what type of weather you encounter, you don't have to worry about it not performing.

Would it better with the bumpers inside

@DennisP Those really don't do much except if the air bags are not inflated to the minimum psi for one reason or another or you are overloaded. They won't offer much of anything for standard towing.

Hello i am currently towing a dump trailer and am looking for something like this for my truck. However my truck has a 3.5 lift. will that be an issue with the install. would i need anything additional for it?

@Rodolfo yes you can still use air bags on your lifted truck. Air lift makes spacers for this depending what size you need: - Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers for LoadLifter 5000 and 7500XL - 2" Lift - Qty 2 # AL52420

@JesseM I have a 3.5 lift would you recommend a 4 in spacer?

@Rodolfo Honestly, you will probably need a 2" spacer for that, but the spacer used can vary depending what kind of lift kit your have. A 4" lift does not directly equate to a 4" spacer. The best practice is to install the air bag kit brackets, measure the distance between and subtract the height of the air spring. That will tell you exactly what spacer is needed.
