Products Featured in This Question
Question:
Hi, I am thinking about installing boat guides to my hydraulic boat hoist. The bunk frame on the lift that I would have to attach to is narrower than the boat trailer. What is the maximum witdth from the outside edge of the frame connection to the inside of the upright tube that the 60inch Guide-Ons can be adjusted?

Expert Reply:
The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers # CE27640 adjust out to a maximum of 13 inches from the rear crossmember of the trailer or in your case from the bunk frame.
The application is for trailer frames up to 3 inches wide x 4-1/4" tall. For trailer frames up to 3 inches wide x 5-1/4 inches tall you will need 2 extra-long U-bolts kits # CE11416. Each set contains four pieces so you will only need one.
I have included a link to installation details.
