Question:

Hello, I bought a truck that has a gooseneck hitch and no ball to go with it. It has no levers under the bed from what I have seen. It looks similar to one of the curt models. It is in a 2016 ram 2500. There seems to be a latch inside of the hole instead of a pin or a groove for the latching ball. I was wondering if there is any way that you could help me figure out what hitch I have and what ball I need.

According to my research the only gooseneck hitch assembly to fit your 2016 Ram 2500 that uses a latch system for the gooseneck ball is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1384. It would be pretty easy to determine if this is what you have since the gooseneck receiver is squared - the rest of the gooseneck hitches on the market use a round receiver.

If this is what you have then the replacement hitch ball is part # BWGNXA2000.

If this isn't what you have then feel free to send in some pictures and try to see if there is any kind of identifying sticker on the underside of the main body.
