Question:
I need a 2" hitch that mounts behind the bumper cover a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse

To add a 2" hitch to your 2023 Chevrolet Traverse, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e56YR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Traverse with included hardware.
I really like the etrailer hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper cover and can be completely hidden when you are not towing. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have attached a couple of pictures below, along with an installation video, so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56394 for a 4-Way or item # C56393 for a 7-Way and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
