Is There a 12v Cigarette Outlet Adapter Available For the Viair 400P Portable Air Compressor
Question:
I see alligator clamps for attaching directly to a battery. Is there not an adapter for a 12v cigarette lighter outlet?

There is not an adapter for a 12v cigarette lighter for the Viair Automatic Portable Air Compressor # VA89WR. The reason is the amp draw. The # VA89WR has a maximum amp draw of 30 amps and most 12v cigarette lighters have an amp range from 10-20 amps.
We do have an option available that uses a 12v cigarette outlet connection.
- Viair Portable Air Compressor Kit # VA76WR
This option only has a max amp draw of 15 amps, but it also has less PSI (60psi) and a lower airflow (1.26cfm).
