Troubleshooting An Atwood Levelegs System That Keeps Trying To Retract A Jack Leg
Question:
Atwood levelegg I have an 2007 Allegro Open Rd 34.5 TGA The left rear jack, 7.5k short will extend and retract When that jack is fully retracted the system does not recognize that it is fully retracted. The motor continues to run and the control panel sounds the alarm. Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem? If the entire leveling system has to be replaced are there any available that would use the same hardware? Thanks

First I recommend trying to troubleshoot the issue by putting the system in error mode by disconnecting the affected jack from the power and pressing the RET and ALL buttons. Reconnect the jack to power and then manually extend individual jacks for 10 seconds by holding down the EXT key and the two jack keys that make up the camper corner of that jack. Listen to ensure all jacks move when manually activated. Press RET and ALL to retract all jacks.
If this doesn't work and you can't get a replacement control panel from Lippert and need to replace the system you would have to replace everything. We currently carry the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC675817 which would come with all the components you would need.
