Installation of Westin Nerf Bars # 25-0675 on 1999 Chevy S-10
Question:
I bought a set of the Westin Nerf bars for my 1999 S10 ZR2. When I looked under the frame, the mounts for these are not on the frame. I need some kind of mount that connects to the frame soo I c an attach the nerf bars. If I drill straight into the frame, the bars are about 4-5 inches too short and would sit under the truck bed. Can you tell me what part I need to purchase. thanks.

Did you receive the mounting brackets with your bars? If you look at the diagram I copied from the installation instructions, you can see that the brackets are intended to attach to the body mounts and that the bars bolt to the brackets, not the vehicle frame.
