Will Grille Guard Interfere with 2022 Ram 1500 Front Camera and Sensors

Question:

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab on order no telling when it will get here and am interested in the look and function of this grill guard. One of the other companies offering a similar item answered a question in reviews that it was not compatible with the sensors/cameras that are on the front end for the advanced safety package and the night package components. Does this guard have the same issue of is it clear of all of those sensors and wont interfere with their function?

The Aries Grille Guard # AA29FR will cause interference with and front cameras or sensors on your 2022 Ram 1500 - this is unfortunately just a side-effect of placing steel in the proximity of cameras and sensors.

Pretty much every aftermarket grille guard will have this issue. The only way I can think of that you might be able to get around this is if Ram offers an OEM option where they're able to adjust the sensors or place them in the grille guard.

I like the simplicity of the Aries grille guard so if you do choose to go with a grille guard this is the one I recommend. You will probably need to see if there is a way to disable the camera/sensors though as I'm sure you'll have some type of alarms going off.
