Difference Between RV and Residential Mini Fridges

Question:

How is a RV mini fridge different from a regular mini fridge? If I am putting this fridge in a camper, there is no way to leave 5 inches behind the unit. It is mounted in an outside kitchen, so it is mounted back far enough so the compartment door can close. How do I remedy this?

Functionality-wise there is no difference from an RV mini fridge like the Everchill # 324-000109 and a regular mini fridge. The only thing that may be a bit different is how the components are installed. A residential fridge is meant to remain still once it's in place while an RV fridge is designed around the movement of the trailer.

If you don't have 5" of space to spare at the back of where the fridge will be installed then you can make a vent using something like the Camco RV Refrigerator Vent Cover # CAM42161 or whatever you think will work best. Basically if it doesn't work you'll need to find a way to make it work.
