How to Install a 5th Wheel Hitch on a Cab and Chassis Truck

Hello! I have a 2022 RAM 3500 chassis crew cab and I want to pick a proper hitch with 15k+ capacity. Are there any options that are easy to install and not too pricey? Would greatly appreciate any help!

I would be happy to help you find a 5th wheel hitch for your 2022 RAM 3500 crew cab chassis. There are a couple of options depending on your preferences. However, both will require welding so not the easiest install. The first option and my recommendation is to use the B&W Companion Flatbed 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3050 with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer item # BWGNRK1500 as this will allow you to tow both 5th wheel and gooseneck trailers. The turnover balls unique design will allow you to completely remove the 5th wheel hitch when you are not towing.

The second option is to use the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # RP30054 you were looking at. This hitch attaches with 1/2" plates that will be welded to the frame of your Ram truck.
