For your all-wheel drive 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon, Subaru recommends using tire chains on your front wheels only. In addition, the manual recommends using Class S approved chains only in order to decrease the probability of damage to components inside your wheel wells.
Judging by your recent searches, it looks like you have the standard tire size of 225/60-18 on your Outback. For this size, a great set of tire chains is the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Profile Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link # TH2004205105. Not only are the chains Class S compatible, they also include self-tensioners which take away the headache of having to tighten the chains after each trip.
