Why is Cutout Measurement More Than Depth Measurement for Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven

Question:
Under specs. You have the depth of stove at 20” then the cutout at 22” ! Is the 22” including the handle ?

From my understanding there are some connections that need to be made behind the Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven with Glass Cover - 21" Tall # FR97KR. Making a little more room at the back would allow those connections to be made without pinching anything.
