Question:
I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat new style with factory installed 4 and 7 way connectors. The wiring harness has been damaged and needs to be replaced. Part 118247 doesnt work because the plug on my trucks tail light wiring connector is round and 118247s is square/rectangular. What would your recommend for me? Thanks!

The Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness for factory tow package 7 way and 4 pole flat connectors # C55774 is a confirmed replacement and fit for your Ford F-150 Lariat. It connects quickly and easily with no cutting or splicing of wires. The mounting bracket and hardware are included. It does feature the round plug that your 2004 F-150 has.
This custom-fit connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the connectors will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is included to keep the connectors secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 7-pole and 4-pole connectors - to help prevent corrosion. We do carry Loctite Bulb, Lamp and Electrical connection Dielectric Grease # LT37534 if you need some.
I have attached a link to an install video to help if needed.
