Will a 6’6” extang Ford F-150 tonneau cover fit a 6’6” Chevy truck?

The dimensions of the beds between Ford and Chevy/GMC are different even though you're looking at two 6'-6" beds, with the biggest difference being the widths. Because of this you will not be able to use a tonneau cover designed for a Ford on a Chevy.

There are even differences based on year models like the Access Vanish Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A55FR will fit a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 but won't fit a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500.

If you need help finding the correct fitting tonneau cover for your Chevy Silverado with a 6.5' bed then just reply back with the model year you have and what style (hard fold up, soft-roll up, etc.) and I can find the correct cover for you.

@AlexL The dimensions of the beds differ between brands so you would not be able to swap the cover from the Chevy over to the Ford unfortunately. If you need help picking out a cover for the Ford just let me know the length of the bed and what style of cover you'd prefer and I'd be happy to make a recommendation.

@Michael Hey, I have the following recommends depending on your model: 1500: Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover # LOM77QR. This cover sits inside the bedrails so you can still use your stake pockets, plus the Black Diamond Mist finish is a really nice look. There's also a Black Urethane # LO67FR finish as well if you're not a fan of the diamond. 2500/3500: Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover - Black Diamond Mist # LOM99QR or Black Urethane # LO59FR. Same thing but the correct fit for these models.

@Mike Depending on the cover there are some that will fit multiple years and some that a minor detail change would prevent them from fitting even though other covers are still compatible. Is there a certain brand or style you're looking for so I can narrow down what would be compatible?
