Can Rocky Mounts Lock Core Be Removed While Lock Core Is Locked?

i think the locking mechanism is broken. it wont unlock. is it possible to remove the lock core while locked?

I wish you could, but to replace the Rocky Mounts Lock Core you need to have the lock unlocked.
I recommend having a local locksmith take a look at it to see if they can get it to unlock so you can replace the lock core with the # RKY0331.
If they are unable to get the lock core to unlock you will need to replace the entire assembly. Based on your picture it looks like you have a Rocky Mounts cable lock so the # RKY3751 if needed.
