Compatible Replacement Mirrors For A 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

I recently purchased a similiar pair of mirrors from Amazon that did not work on my 2015 Silverado LT that has power heated mirrors option code DL8, truck build date 9/9/2014. After the passenger side install I tested it and it blew the 10 amp driver side window/mirror switch fuse two times, and would only move up and out, not down and in. It also interfered with my drive side mirror control in the same manner. I noted that the passenger side mirror harness connector had two extra wire pins that my OEM mirror did not in pin locations 1 and 5. Pin locations 8 to 12 were used on both, although the wiring colors do not match. I did not bother with testing the driver side. I will try to return those, but do not want to make the same mistake again. May we test these without installing simply plug into harness and return them if they do not work?
