Question:
1. 30-86-101 This is a single unit, combination brake, tail, and stop assembly. It is the non-clam design. I would like to use a separate single unit for the turn signal. Does not connecting the turn signal wire interfere with the function of the unit? 2. 30-86-101 There doesnt seem to be a specification about whether the unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Can it be mounted both horizontally or vertically? 3. 30-86-101 Just to be sure, this unit surface mount and has a red lens and a black base? 4. 30-86-105 This is a single unit for backup. Its a non-clam design. Is this the model designed for horizontal mounting? Why are there separate models for horizontal and vertical mounting? 5. 30-86-105 Just to be sure, this unit is surface mount and has a black base? 6. 30-86-104 According to my understanding of the Bargman part numbering system, this unit would be surface mount and would be a turn signal unit with an amber lens and a black base. It would be a non-clam design. I dont see it in your online catalog, do you have this model? 7. 30-86-104 If you have this unit, can it be mounted either horizontally or vertically? 8. 30-86-104 If you dont have this unit, do you have 31-86-104? This would be the same unit except a clam design. 9. In terms of dimensions, are the non-clam design unit and the clam design the same, so can be mounted next to each other with a uniform appearance? I intend to mount each of three, single lamp units horizontally. Although mounted horizontally, they will be stacked, that is, one above the other. At the top, a turn signal unit. In the middle, a back up unit. On the bottom, a brake and tail light unit. The turn signal function wont be used on the bottom unit. Its going to be used on a 1984 Dolphin RV which is based on a Toyota chassis. The ion of units Ive described will allow me to use the existing vehicle wiring, without significant modification. I would like a uniform appearance, black base and uniform dimensions. Do the bulbs come with each unit? Are the screws for attaching to the vehicle included? If not, what size do I need? Are there any other considerations Im not thing of? Assuming the models described are available, Id need three single units per side so a total of six units - two of each model. Do you have enough in stock to complete the order? If possible, please give me an idea of the cost of each model and the total for this project. I sincerely apologize for the number and detail of these questions, its new territory for me and it will be expensive enough to make me want to not screw up. I also need to complete this project as soon as possible.

Bargamn light # 30-86-101 has a wire for ground, a wire for running lights, and a wire for combined brake and turn lights. If your trailer has combined brake and turn signals then you would first need to separate out the brake and turn signals using converter # 118158. But if the trailer does have separate brake and turn signals then yes, you can just connect brake or running lights or turn signal as long as it is grounded.
The light can be mounted vertically or horizontally. And it does have a red lens and black base as it appears in the pictures and in the video I have linked.
For discontinued light 30-86-105 it was designed for horizontal mounting. The vertical mount is # 30-86-103. There are different parts for horizontal or vertical because of the way the back up lens in the center is designed. Either one is surface mount with a black base.
We do not have 30-86-104 or 31-86-104 though we can get them. The bases can be mounted vertically or horizontally. We also have the red lens LED tail light version # 47-86-101.
Clam-shell indicates how the item is packaged and not its design. A light in a clamshell package will be in its own individual package while non-clamshell lights are loose. the dimensions for either would be the same so they would line up nice and neat.
Bulbs are included but mounting hardware is not. Mounting holes are approximately 3/16 to 1/4 inch. You may want to consider LED lights as they use less power and last longer. If that is an option let me know and I can determine the correct part numbers.
