Trouble Installing The Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top 3 Bike Rack On The 2020 BMW X3
Question:
The side and bottom hooks don’t fit on the side and bottom of the trunk. The gap is too small and the angle of the hook isn’t right. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It sounds like you need to use the hatch anchors instead of the clips. Hollywood Racks says that some vehicles, like yours, have small tolerances where the clips cannot easily fit, but these anchors will allow you to easily install the bike rack onto your 2020 BMW X3. Two of these should have been included when you bought the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 3 Bike Rack HRF2-3. Since you will need two anchors for the bottom and two for the sides, you will want to grab a couple more Replacement Hatch Anchors # HR44FR.
