Hi There Will the clamps work on the existing bars i have on my truck? Instruction do not show dimensions etc. I have Thule 422XT Xsporter Aluminum Truck Rack.

I went ahead and called Yakima, and they confirmed that they have fitted the BowDown Folding J-Style Kayak Carrier Y04042 on crossbars that are 3-3/4 inches. The width of the Thule 422XT Xsporter Aluminum Truck Rack # TH500XT is 3-1/2 inches wide. You are good to go!
