Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2018 Ford F-150 W/ Max Tow Package
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a 2018 F-150 Supercab 8 foot bed with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine, 10 speed transmission and a 3.73 axle. The truck has the max tow package and the max payload package. So it has a 7850 GVWR and can handle a payload of about 2452 lbs. I pull an 7500 lb travel trailer with a WD hitch and at times I may be hauling a 800 lb motorcycle in the bed of the truck while pulling the trailer. Which would be better for my application, an air bag suspension enhancement system or would the RAS system??

For your setup I recommend the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y you were looking at as it is confirmed to fit your 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCab 8'Bed with the 3.5L EcoBoost and the Max Tow package and will not only give you 2000lb of load leveling capacity which is plenty for your needs, but also will improve the unloaded ride of your truck.
If you are planning on carrying more than your 800lb motorcycle and 7500lb trailer stepping up to the # RAS3611-YHD with a 3000lb load leveling capacity would be the better option.
The # RAS3611-Y reduces sway, eliminates axle wrap, and activates immediately when weight is applied. This system once installed will not require maintenance like a air helper spring system will.
I included a video of the RAS Systems for you to take a look at.
