Mixing 215/75-15 and 205/75-15 Sized Tires on Trailer
Question:
I am replacing a 215/75/15 tire on my utility trailer with one of your tires that is a 205/75/15. The other side tire is still a 215/75/15. Is the slight difference in size of the tires going to make any difference as to the operation of the trailer? Thank you.

It sure will. You really want to avoid mixing tire sizes, as it can lead to poor handing, uneven tire wear and increased trailer sway. It's acceptable to use a mismatched but close tire size for a temporary spare as long as you get the original tire fixed or replaced as soon as possible, but using it permanently would be dangerous. The 215/75-15 is about 1/2 inch taller, which doesn't seem like much it will make a difference.
I'd recommend going with two of the # TA53VR tires and keeping the odd 215/75-15 tire as a spare.
