2008 Jayco Jayflight 32BHDS Leaf Spring Replacement

Question:

Thank you for your reply. I in a bit of a time crunch so I was looking for bolt-on replacement parts only. We leave for a two week trip in just 4 weeks. So I have decided to go with the triangular OE style equalizer that is 6.06” x 4” (which matches what is on the unit now) and just install new springs and a wet-bolt kit. So as far as the springs I am not sure what I need. The axles are rated at 5200lbs each and the gross GWRV of the travel trailer is 9,670 lbs. So maybe 2500 lbs. springs?

I can see what the best possible cushioned equalizer would be for your trailer but I don't have a way to look up what you have or see how far off the # K71-564-00 would be from it working. What dimensions do you have?As far as the leaf spring is concerned 25-1/4 inch would be the better option. What capacity are you looking for.

The best way to pick out leaf springs is based on the axle capacity and then the dimensions. So in your case the 6k axle springs part # e34SR would be what you'd want. These are 25-1/4 inches long which will match up well to yours that measure near 26 inches with a load on them.
