Can you use an impact driver on this winch?

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch part # DL11004 can be used with a power source like a standard cordless drill to speed up the process of extending and retracting the winch line. It is not recommended however to use an impact style driver on it however because of the impact mechanism putting alot of torque out repeatably and could cause issues with the drive of the winch. To use a regular cordless drill you will use a 5/8" socket attached to a driver attachment.
