Is 10 Amp Fuse Rating Correct When Installing Trailer Wiring in 2016 Honda CRV
Question:
The instructions for the wiring indicate to put a 10 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash. However, in the 2016 CRV owners manual it states the trailer fuse should be 7.5 amps. What should be used? Is there a risk in using the 10 amp fuse?

Curt extensively tested the fuse rating needed when installing their # C56158 in your 2016 Honda CR-V and they determined that 10 amps was the correct rating to go with. With as many as these as we have sold we would have heard by now if there was an issue as well so using the 10 amp fuse will be totally fine.
