Question:

checked the ground connections and sanded connections, just to be sure. removed hydraulic brake line, activated brake controller and zero fluid came out, with full reservoir.

It sounds like the motor is running but not building pressure. This could indicate a leak somewhere since you have a full reservoir. The next thing you can do is bleed the brakes to ensure the system is free of air in the lines.

I have included a picture of how the EHB should be wired. The black and purple wires in the diagram should have 12 volt power. The blue wire should have power when the brake controller is activated.

Check the breakaway switch and battery to make sure they are properly grounded and the switch is not pulled out and the battery is fully charged.

I have a 2018, F250 when I hook up my tri-axle trailer electric over hydraulic. I purchased a new actuator. Sometimes the actuator goes on and sometimes it does not. What would you think the problem is? I have a brand new trailer battery hooked up also for the ebrake system
