RV Tire Chains for Thor Windsport 34J for Tire Size 245/70-19.5
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
Ive been told that a larger Class A will destroy the cable-style snow chains and that I should find a true chain. Is this accurate? Im looking for something for a Thor Windsport 34J - its around 18,000lbs.

Tire cables are not known for being super long lasting. For vehicle applications you really only will get one or two solid uses out of them before they are worn out so I would agree a chain would be the way to go.
I'd recommend a heavier duty tire chain made from higher quality materials like the Titan Chains # TC2228SCAM which is made from the toughest metal used on tire chains, manganese nickel alloy. These fit your tire size of 245/70-19.5 as well.
