Question:
Greetings.........is it that crucial to have the camper level before installing the RV Smart-Level? The reason I asked is that I just pulled my camper into a permanent spot in Illinois winter scene and it is not perfectly level. Do I have to get it level first then install the leveler? Thank you

The trailer does have to be level or as close as possible to install the Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level part # HM08201 according to my contact at Hopkins. Please note, the Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level is designed specifically for the Hopkins Leveling Kit part # HM08200. If the Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level was not initially installed on a level trailer then the system would not correctly show level each time you went to activate it since the baseline reading was off.
