Fit of Thule OutWay TH45JV on 2007 Lexus RX400h
Question:
Have a factory installed spoiler on the back of the 400h hatch, above the rear window. Wondering if it is safe to hook the thule outway 2 onto it or will the weight of the bikes rip the spoiler off the vehicle?

In many cases, having a solid spoiler at the top of the hatch lid will prevent a trunk mounted bike rack from being installed.
Thule has done extensive testing on your vehicle, and has found that the spoiler is strong enough to handle a 2 bike rack. The Thule OutWay you referenced, part # TH45JV would be an excellent choice. The unique ratcheting cable attachment system allow the rack to be installed or removed in seconds, unlike other racks that use straps and buckles to attach to the vehicle.
For women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
I have linked you to the installation instructions for the Raceway, as well as a product demonstration video featuring the OutWay 3 bike model # TH56BV
