For your 2017 F150 Crew Cab 4x4 I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582. I installed numerous air bag kits, and no matter the application, I prefer Firestone over any other available. They are extremely durable, and even when I worked on commercial trucks we used Firestone bags. They # F2582 kit is confirmed to fit, and has a 4800 lb capacity so it will definitely help out with your trailer, and keeping the back end of the truck where it's meant to be.
Since your truck is lifted there will most likely be a spacer needed. But a 6" lift doesn't always mean the back was raised 6". Measuring the space between where the top and bottom brackets are installed is the best way to make sure its the correct size. I attached a photo from the instructions showing you how and where to measure and the chart for the spacers. Just make sure that when you are measuring, that all 4 tires are on the ground, or supported so the suspension can be at a proper angle.
There isn't a recommend PSI setting based on weight. The more weight you add, the more your truck will squat. So you just need to add more air, or let some out if the ride is too stiff. A visual inspection also helps, I like to have more air than needed in the bags before I hook up, then let any air out until the truck is level with the trailer hooked up.
If you want to prevent from having to drag your shop compressor out, or make a trip to the service station every time you tow, I recommend adding a on board compressor like Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ. This is my favorite compressor because of the simplicity of the install. There's only a few wire connections, and it is operated with a Bluetooth remote, or your smartphone. Which is really nice, because there is no lines to run inside the cab, or gauges to mount. You can keep the inside of your F-150 looking nice, and not have to put any holes in the dash.
I linked the parts above, and a few videos for you to check out. Happy towing.
