Hinge for Butterfly Gate That Allows 270 Degree Swing

Would these PLR1904-Z hinges work for a butterfly gate on the end of a livestock trailer... where the gate would swing roughly 90 degrees to the inside of the trailer and roughly 180 degrees to the outside of the trailer?

While we do have a hinge that is going to let you have a gate that swings to the inside of the trailer and to the outside for a 270 degree swing, the hinges you referred to would not allow that type of movement. Instead, you will need what is called a square corner hinge, and you have a couple of different options based on the length and metal construction you want. The following options are below and I have added links to video reviews for you as well.

- Square Corner Hinge with Reverse Bracket - Polished Stainless Steel - 12" # PLR2212-SSP or 16" # PLR2216-SSP
- Square Corner Hinge with Reverse Bracket - Aluminum - 12" # PLR2212-AS or 16" # PLR2216-AS
- Strap Hinge for Enclosed Cargo Trailer Doors (Zinc-Plated Steel, 12") # 2212
