Connecting Coleman RoadTrip 285 Grill to Starcraft Antigua Trailer Propane Supply
Published 11/08/2019 >
Question:
Hi, We just bought the Coleman Roadtrip 285 Grill and we have a Starcraft Antigua hybrid travel trailer. I am wondering if this hose will connect the two and if we need an additional regulator. The grill currently runs on those little green cans of propane. I have seen hoses to connect the Roadtrip LXE but have had no luck finding it for this one. Thanks,

Since your Coleman RoadTrip 285 Grill is designed to hook up to portable/throwaway propane cylinders the correct hose assembly is the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect # 100476-120-MBS. The 1"-20 Male fitting at one end of the hose is what will connect to the grill (this is the same type of fitting that those green cylinders use) and the 1/4" Male Model 250 quick-disconnect will go to the propane system on your Starcraft Trailer. Based on my research the RoadTrip 285 has an integrated regulator so an additional shouldn't be needed, although you may want to verify this in your instructions manual.
I have attached a short video review on this 10 foot hose that you can check out as well.
