Parts Needed to Change Out Lock Cores on Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box
Question:
Thanks Kyle. So, how will I replace the one cylinder that fell out while I was trying to remove the broken key? Is it that I somehow made the lock think I was using a change key? ALSO - one cylinder is still blocked with a broken key, so I cant use the change key there. How should I proceed there? I didnt have any luck getting the first key out until the cylinder came out in my hand... LASTLY - is there a way to reuse the cylinder that came out? I just dont see how to get it back in... maybe with the change key it will go back in?? THANK YOU for your help.

You can absolutely change out the lock cores on the now-discontinued Thule Force XL 625 or the Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6358B. You will need new lock cores and the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200 will do the trick. It comes with new lock cores, new keys and a Universal change key which you'll use to remove your old cores and replace them with the new ones.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out which I recommend taking a look at.
