I contacted Plews and the only suggestion they can give to remove a stuck cartridge is to try to remove it with a pair of pliers. They also mentioned their grease guns like part # L30100 are not compatible with Mystic grease cartridges. You also want to make sure you are not putting the grease cartridge in upside down because that would cause it to become stuck. The foil pull tab should be facing the top of the grease gun and the cardboard side down.
