How Does Install of Draw Tite Hitch on 2017 Ford Escape Affect Ground Clearance

Question:

I am considering this hitch for my 2017 Ford Escape no factory tow package or lift gate sensor. Can you tell me how much it impacts the vehicles clearance? The other one that I am looking at is Item # 75782, which looks like it doesnt have any impact on clearance - is that correct? Thanks!

I attached a picture that shows the Draw Tite hitch part # 75758 installed on a similar Ford Escape as your 2017 model to show you what the ground clearance will look like. From the bottom of the hitch down to the ground is going to measure right at 11 inches. Since this vehicle has a pretty short distance from the rear axle of the vehicle to the rear of the vehicle this ground clearance figure wouldn't be bad.
