Stock Tire Sizes for 2013 Toyota Prius v

i have prius v 2013 and winter tires are 205/60/16. i have another set of tires 235/70/16. can we use these tires on prius

The 2013 Toyota Prius V can come with either of two stock tire sizes, 205/60-16 or 215/50-17. The larger size tire 215/50-17 is 8-1/2-inches wide. A 235 size tire is 9-1/4-inches wide and this wide a tire could potentially cause interference issues with brake lines and other vehicle components within the wheel well. I reviewed an online version of the owner's manual for the car and it has no information about using larger tires than the two sizes noted above so I would not attempt to use any other size.

If you need tire chains for your 205/60-16 winter tires it is permissible to use them on the front tires and the Titan chain set # TC1540 will effectively improve winter traction without breaking the bank.
