Brake Controller Plug Location on 2019 Ram 1500

Question:
Looking for the brake control wiring plug? Can you get to it without taking dash apart?

On the new 2019 Ram 1500 the factory brake controller port is located under and behind the heater controls on the dash. I have attached an image that points to this location. You should be able to access the plug by simply reaching behind and unclipping the panel directly underneath those heater controls. This will allow you to easily remove this small panel so that you can grab the needed plug to which the Tekonsha Plug-In Adapter # 3024-P you referenced will connect.
As you can see this does require you to remove a single small panel but you certainly don't need to take apart the dash to install the brake controller.
