Question:
I have a 2 Wheel Dr. 2011 Chevrolet traverse LT Will I be able to pull a fully equipped 20 foot food trailer with my traverse?

The answer is going to depend entirely on the fully loaded weight of the food trailer and if your 2011 Chevy Traverse LT has the trailer towing package. I looked up a copy of the owner's manual and it states that a 2WD can pull a trailer that is a maximum of 2,000 lbs UNLESS it has the V92 Trailer Towing Package. If it does the maximum trailer weight is 5,200 lbs; if you are unsure if your '11 Traverse has the towing package you can call your local Chevy dealer with the VIN and they will be able to tell you.
If you do decide to pull the trailer you are going to need a hitch and the best option is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75528 because it is a complete bolt-on installation and is hidden from view once installed. I have added a link to a video of this hitch being installed on an '11 Traverse for you to check out.
Should you not have the trailer towing package you will need a wiring harness, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118450 which installs simply without any type of splicing needed. I have added a link to a video of this connector being installed on a 2011 Chevy Traverse which will show you exactly how easy it is.
I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
