Question:
The 4 Bike Thule rack says supports 35 pounds per bike, so would I have any problems using it with only 2 50 pound electric bikes?

The Thule Parkway 4 Bike Rack does have a listed weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike like what you mentioned. While this does come out to a 140 pound total weight capacity, you will still need to adhere to the 35 pound per bike limit. This is because loading a heavier bike like your 50 pound e-bike will exceed the weight capacity of the individual cradles on the carrier.
To transport your two 50 pound e-bikes you will want to go with a platform-style rack that is designed for heavier bikes like these. I recommend taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR. This is a heavy-duty rack that can handle 2 bikes of up to 80 pounds each. The rack features cushioned hooks that slide along the upright mast for easy loading and adjustable wheel mounts that will accept most wheelbases and wheel sizes. Locks are also included to help deter theft and protect your investments.
