Does AC Cover From Adco Need to Be Removed to Run AC System

Question:
can you run the a/c with the cover on...live in Florida and have to run it constantly at appx 90 to keep wood from swelling because of humidity.

With AC covers like the Adco Air Conditioner Cover # 290-3027 they need to be removed before you can turn the unit on. Reason being the AC system needs to have access to air and the cover would block that totally.
