Recommended Trailer Spare Tire Carrier for Wheel with 5 on 5 Inch Bolt Pattern
Question:
I have a 12 foot pipe top utility trailer and I need a spare tire mount. The tongue is 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall. My wheel is a 5 on 5. Do you have a product that will work? Thanks

Your best option for a trailer mounted spare tire carrier that will work with a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern is with a U-bolt style carrier like the CE Smith # CE22011Z-11050-2. This carrier will fit 5-lug wheels up to 15 inches in diameter and is designed for use on trailer tongues that are up to 3 inches wide. 2 lug nuts are included to secure the wheel.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this carrier so you can see exactly how it installs.
