I have a regular car roof.. I’m not sure what rack I need to carry my kayak. 2011 CR-V

There is a roof rack fit for your 2011 Honda CR-V, which will have fixed mounting points to attach a roof rack (like in the accompanying photo).
I recommend the Yakima Jetstream roof rack, which consists of Crossbars # Y00425, SkyLine Towers # Y53TR and Landing Pad # Y00234. This will give you a roof rack with aero bars to minimize the amount of wind noise and drag that you would encounter with other crossbar styles. You can then use the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # Y04073 with this rack to carry your kayak; this carrier is a simple clamp-on installation that comes with load straps and bow/stern tie-downs so you will not have to purchase those separately.
I do recommend installing Yakima SKS lock cores # Y07204 into the SkyLine Towers to lock the roof rack to your CR-V and protect your investment.
