Question:
The best tow dolly we offer is the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Self-Steering Wheels and Electric Brakes part # RM-2000-1. This dolly as the title suggest has self steering wheels for increased maneuverability, electric brakes for safety, and lights for DOT compliance. The only thing one would need to use this dolly is a trailer connector like part # PK11604 for a 6-way or part # PK12706 for a 7-way. This dolly will accept a vehicle with a front track up to 76" wide which would seem to be a bit too narrow for your application. The dolly also only accepts wheel sizes from 12" - 16" therefore would also not work for you in this aspect either. The weight capacity of 4,380 lbs would be a problem for either vehicle as well. There are few dolly's available that are equipped to tow full-size trucks. Therefore, if permitted, I recommend towing the vehicle with all four wheels on the ground. In order to do this you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, flat-towing wiring, a supplemental braking system, and a possible high-low adapter. If you would like for me to recommend these parts for you, I would need to know the complete year, make, model, and trim of each vehicle. Once you can provide me with this info I would be happy to recommend the correct parts for you.
