can my 1995 c/k 1500 tow my 5200 pound food trailer ?

There are several different towing capacities for a 1995 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup. These capacities will vary depending on engine size, wheel base, drive type, gear ratio, etc. Therefore, the only true way to tell what your trucks towing capacity is would be to find both the Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) and the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). These figures can be located on the information tag inside the drivers door jamb. If you subtract the GVW from the GCWR, that will give you the maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) you can safely tow.
If it turns out that you can tow the trailer, then it is likely that you will be towards the upper end of the scale and may require suspension enhancements to help the vehicle support the added weight.
