can it be wired to the license plate lights? so that i can see my trailer when driving? thanks

You can indeed wire the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-770614 that you referenced to a different circuit like your license plate lights. This will allow the unit to power on with your running lights so that you can use it as an observation system instead of just a backup camera.
This system includes a nice 7 inch LED color monitor and 2 color CCD cameras with 50 foot infrared night vision. I have attached the installation instructions along with a short video demonstration that you can also check out.
