The Kat's Heaters cartridge style heater # KH11816 installs in the Left Rear cartridge hole of the engine block on your 2014 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. So you will locate the hole, clean the hole of debris using compressed air, attach the cord to the cartridge and then install the heater. To secure you will rotate the clip and then you will route the cord using zip ties to secure it away from any hot or moving parts.
When in use, the cartridge will heat the engine block to keep fluids moving and make starting your vehicle easier in cold conditions. I've attached a video of a cartridge install on a different vehicle to give you the idea of the installation procedure.
