Question:

A few days ago i came across a rack, I thought was this one, that stated there was a accessory bracket that would extend the bed mounting brackets out a couple inches so would be just little wider then a camper topper. This way it allowed for a camper topper to be installed and to still use a rack like this. Is this the rack that has that option? If not do you sell that rack? Thank

I do have a solution for you to use a ladder rack with your camper shell installed, but the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07706 is not compatible with a camper shell.

The ladder rack that I recommend for your application is the TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack for Camper Shell/Truck Cap # TH29200XT. The installation does require you to do some drilling on your camper shell. The Elliptical crossbars are 65 inches long and they have a weight limit that is limited to the weight limit of your camper shell.

I also recommend using the Loctite Anti-Seize Stick # LT37616 to help keep the bolts from corroding or seizing.
