Recommended Propane Adapter Fitting Female 1 Inch-20 X Male Type 1 Use With LP Appliance

Question:
This is going to sound strange, but I would like to connect a 1 lb disposable propane cylinder to my RV regulator, to use the disposable cylinder in an emergency. I need to order some other stuff from you and wanted to bundle for shipping. Do you have anything like this? Above item is a single fitting, but something with a hose in the middle would be OK too. Thanks.

The MB Sturgis Propane Adapter, # 204132-MBS, can be used to switch from refillable 20-40 lbs cylinders to a 1 lbs disposable. The adapter uses the Type 1 male end that will allow you to screw into the supply line from a LP appliance and the female end that will connect to a 1 lbs disposable tank.
These adapters were originally designed to be used on smaller propane appliances like grills. The size of the lines on these appliances will allow the 1 lbs tanks to give you enough propane to finish cooking on the grill if you would suddenly run out of LP in the grill's tank, but a 1 lb tank will not provide much support for your RV's propane system. It would be better to carry a spare 20 lb tank with you on your trip if you think you may run out of propane.
If you have a tank that is larger than the 20-40 lbs, this adapter will not work for this application. The larger tanks are too big and the pressure differential between the 1 lbs and larger tanks will not allow the 1 lbs tank to adequately work with the larger tanks. Therefore, larger RV tanks or propane tanks on a motorhomes are not compatible to use the 1 lbs tanks and this adapter.
