Leaving Rear View Safety Cameras On When Driving Forward
Question:
Can your Rear View Safety Inc Backup Cameras and Alarms - RVS-770614-213, be left on to view vehicles to rear when driving? Thanks

Expert Reply:
You can absolutely leave cameras on and functioning while driving forward as well as in reverse. This can be done with any of the Rear View Safety cameras, including the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras, # RVS-770614-213. The way in which you wire the camera system will dictate how the camera functions for you. You will want to connect it to a wire that has constant power rather than the reverse function wire that only has power when the vehicle is put in reverse. If your vehicle has constant running lights, that would be a good wire to connect to for the function you are desiring.
