The first thing you want to make sure of is that you have enough clearance when replacing your tires and wheels with larger ones. You want a minimum of 3-inches clearance from the tires to the inside of the rims or wheel wells.
I have attached a helpful article that explains what is needed when replacing or adding disc brakes to a trailer. You will need to know the axle weight rating first. You also need to know what brake mounting flange you have on your trailer and the size bearings and seals you need for the axle spindle. You can then find the right replacement hub and drum and brakes for your trailer. You will need to know the wheel bolt pattern to make sure you match the wheeels and tires you want to put on the trailer.
Once you get the numbers for the bearings and seal let me know and I can make soem recommendations that will work for you. If you are unable to read the numbers on the bearings or seals you can use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure the spindle in the locations noted in the attached drawing.
